Default Little orange box codes

Hello all... Hope you had a great holiday and well deserved break. I have a question about the little boxes you use to code threads with new or no new posts.

When inside a forum, i.e. Demo Chit Chat, down at the bottom there are six boxes that show the status of the threads. If all six of these are still in use, I just wanted to comment that it is nearly impossible to tell red from orange, and the same color seems to be used to mean different things (unless I am misreading them).

It would be great to have these little reminders, especially to quickly see the threads I have posted in. If you are intending for these boxes to be in use, making them different colors would be so helpful. Maybe green for where you've posted, or blue... It's easy to see the 'no new posts', which is really nice.

Anyway, that's just something I've been meaning to ask about for a long time, but could never remember it. Your recent upgrades to the site are awesome and thanks for having such a great and well-monitored site. It so wonderful to be able to visit a forum without the worry that unwanted intruders will have left inappropriate messages all over the place. I know a few slip through on occasion, but the monitors and members do a great place of keeping it free from spam.

Thanks so much... Catherine

The powers that be are aware of how difficult it is to tell the difference in the colors of the boxes. I believe a change in the color code is on Daven's wish list of eventual changes.
