I am attempting to create an Album within my own gallery. I have created the actual album but how do I transfer my selected cards into the album.

I just created an album to try it. Maybe we have to have the album in place first and then upload to that album?? I didn't find a way to move cards that were already uploaded, but I will keep looking.
I found a way to do it, but maybe there is an easier way. If you go to the photo you want to move to that album and click on edit photo, and then in the category box scroll clear to the bottom and click on the name of your album and save.
Thanks Lydia...sorry if I jumped in there but I am sicker than a dog and not much else I can do but play around on the computer! Just took my temp and it's 100.1 which isn't bad, but considering I normally run low, it is making me feel miserable. Enough complaining, I'm just glad I have a fun place to come to when I can't go out and play!
And I don't mind at all - I appreciate it a ton! I'm not much better - started the day by falling down on my walk, smashing my Iphone into a million pieces and I'm really starting to feel the results. There must be something in the universe today!

Thanks Kathy and Lydia I moved a couple of photos over to the Album. Is there anyway to leave the thumbnail in the original gallery and also have it in the Album. Or alternatively have the album displayed when you first open up my gallery. What I'm trying to do is isolate Crafty Secrets cards into an album but also leave them in the general gallery.

That can't be done, Elizabeth - I'm afraid you have to choose between your gallery or an album. The thumb for the gallery will display above the cards in your gallery, but you can choose which card in the album you wish to display as the thumb.
Since we're only meant to upload any card once, I'm afraid that it's an either/or situation.
I settle for having mine organised on my PC , and just in my gallery here.

Sabrina is correct - albums are different from regular galleries.
If I upload a card into a Stampin' Up! stamp set gallery, or a technique that card will appear both in that gallery and my member gallery.
Think of an album as an actual scrapbook - you have to open the book to see the pictures They're also not searchable in gallery searches, so consider that when adding to an album.
