Default Hey Daven--ZOOMING!

Hi Daven! I have an idea, dont know if it can be done since I know NOTHING about computers, but is there a possibility of putting a ZOOM function in the Gallery? Especially for some of the Convention boards where they are far away.
Thanks!!

um....no? absolutely not!

no seriously, it probably wouldn't make much difference. zooming up on those pictures wouldn't help you see more detail. they'd be all pixelly because we have to reduce the resolution of images when they're uploaded in order to save on file size/bandwidth. if we didn't do that I shudder to think what our monthly bandwidth bill would be. many, many, many thousands of dollars (it's true!)

you know how on like TV shows or movies, and somebody's looking at a fuzzy image or video on a computer, and then some guy says "there. right there. enhance that!" and then in about 2 seconds they do, and you can magically see stuff that you couldn't see before? it's all bunk. not possible. images can be sharpened somewhat, but if the detail ain't there, it ain't there. as a computer guy, watching what they do with computers on TV shows makes me insane!
