Default Help with Search

There is a slight problem with the set-up for doing searches, and I seem to have run into it on several occasions. The specification that words are too short or too common to be considered part of the search makes things difficult! For example:

I'm trying to search the BST forum for the "What Could Be Better" set on someone's wish list. When I put it into a search, I get this notice:

Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms. The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search : What, Could, Be, Better

Does anyone see the problem with this?

Try putting the whole thing in quotes like this: "What Could Be Better" and it will keep it together as one phrase instead of tryind to find posts with any of those words. See almost all the posts will have at least one of those words... so a search would just bring up all posts, not specific ones. HTH!

Nevermind! I just tried and it did not work. Sorry, this usually works.

Yep...tried the quotations, and tried the running it all together like "whatcouldbebetter"! That didn't work either! But thanks, anyway!

Cindy ~ Do an advanced search, type in the key words area What Could Be Better* (add the * to keep it all one)

When I did it 6 threads were found, although you'll probably have to read some of the posts to see if it's on someones wishlist ;)

Hope this helps ~
