Gallery viewing option

I came across a thread the other day where the OP suggested they like to view the gallery by "thumbnail" (evidently to be objective on the artwork, rather than by the artist themselves). It sounded like a great idea to me & LOVE viewing by thumbnail now.

However, you have to choose the "thumbnail" option on each page - unless I'm missing some setting that I can easily make?? When I go to page 2, 3, et.c of the gallery on every page I have to change my choice to thumbnail again.

Is there something I can do to set my preferences to always default to "thumbnail view" when I go into the gallery?

I posted a question about this last December ( see thread ) . I miss being able to view the gallery by thumbnails; it used to work but got broken during one of the server upgrades. Hopefully, it will get fixed one day.

Vera - thanks for the link to your Dec thread. Never thought of changing the page # in the url - might be a little quicker than using the pull-down on each page. Thanks!
