I want to learn how to make it so that it doesnt show the actual URL, but rather a DESCRIPTION of the URL, instead. Some of the ladies here have cute ones, and you click on it and it takes you to their gallery. I tried what I thought would work, but it didnt. Drats.

Best instructions on doing a pretty, clickable link:

First, just to make life easier, change to an enhanced interface (if you haven't already):

Click Edit Signature
Click the "insert link" button (hold your pointer over the buttons to see what they do)
In the URL field type Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Click OK
Click Save Signature
If you want to put a word in like "my gallery" instead of the web address (see my signature line). Do the following instead:
Click on User CP
Click Edit Signature
Type My Gallery (or whatever you want it to say)
Highlight My Gallery with your mouse pointer
Click the "insert link" button
In the URL field type Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Click OK
Click Save Signature

I had come back to see if Meri was still needing help, and I saw that my siggy was changed. I sat here scratching my head for a moment and then I emailed her and told her I think the board has gremlins! LMAO!!
Of course, that only lasted a good 2 mins until I realized it was you who did it. Phew, glad it was not a gremlin! LOL

Ok you all threw me for a loop, first the thead disappered,(thanks L for helping me find it.) Then when I tried to do it I messed it all up. Thankfully me hubby was just passing by my chair as I was working so he got it all fixed for me. I was ready to throw myself down at the mercy of Jenn! I love this site!!!!!!!!

Jenn's a Gremlin! My go to gal! ROFLMAO! I hope my latest upload went, but it had all kinds of warnings and stuff. I was just patient, kept waiting, and finally it finished processing. I see so many double, triple and quadruple posts, I think it's because they believed all the dire warnings and did their uploads all over again and again and again. Things are so slow tonight, I sure hope Daven gets his upgrades in soon! I have more to upload, but not tonight. Got to get to bed before 11:00!
