Default Gallery - SU is NOT the end all and be all....

I don't get it. Did I miss something?? Was SCS bought out by SU or something? Why is it that there are no options for uploading a card that ISN'T SU!?!?!?!?!!? There are so many great companies out there. Over the years, I have become less and less fascinated with SU and venturing out to other stamp companies. If I were a company on SCS "Platinum Partners" list, I'd be a little upset. Here's the menu when you first go to upload a photo.

When checking the SCS Help page, there's nothing about uploading to the gallery.

How are YOU uploading cards that have nothing to do with SU using the menu provided?

Never mind....I think I figured it out. Cards just get uploaded to our gallery. The menu is "additional" gallery features.

And did you know that SCS was originally a site for an upline to keep in touch with her downline across the country? It started as an SU only website. They've expanded over the years.

Thanks, Joanne....did not know that. No wonder so much is SU-oriented. Don't get me wrong, I still love SU, especially their colors, cardstock, etc. I just feel that their style of images don't and haven't change over time.

Be sure to put the company name of what you are using as a keyword. That helps get them into the company "galleries" when people search.

Company Galleries

There's no specific uploading for them.

Here's a link to the page listing the Company Galleries which are searchable by keywords: if you hover your cursor over the relevant company name, you can see which keywords the gallery software recognizes for each company: Company Galleries.
Clicking on any of those company names will take you to the gallery for that company (but be aware that only cards where people have used the keywords will show as a result of the search. Of course, the same applies with the SU galleries which aren't keyword-driven - if people haven't uploaded them to the correct gallery, they won't show there ;-)).
Other keywords that it's good to remember to use are the ones which help to ensure that cards appear in our Occasions galleries ~ Occasions & Themes Gallery .

ETA - sorry, Emily, just spotted that you had the same link. Too early on Sunday morning here

I understand bjlee717. Some crafters have a tendency to stay with only SU. After all, thats how the company/parties are structured. Others like to change it up with a mix of stamp companies, designs and styles.
In the end, its all good. We re all doing what we love!!
