OK, so today I attempted to load a second card and selected my image, downloaded it and it showed up as my previously loaded card in the thumbnail while writing my description, after doing this a couple times I finally let it roll, and then clicked on the image to see what happened and it magically turned into load #2 like it should have been. Well, I ended up deleting it due to being a different company image and needing to load it to their gallery... NOW my FIRST image I loaded shows in thumbnail size but if you click it all you get is that stupid red x and a really small box....
Oh this has happened to me lately as well! I try to upload a second card and it loads the pic of the first card.
oh it's QUITE irritating to say the least, time lines on loads etc... I had other SCS users try to load my card too, so it's NOT my computer....
It doesn't happen to me every single tim I upload but it's happened twice now on this week. In fact I couldn't upload a card in time for the MFT event that was going on because of this.
When an upload has a mismatched thumbnail it just means something happened while it was trying to create the thumb for your image - your internet connection had a hiccup, a satellite flew over something.
When it happens, you can either delete the entry and start over, or you can contact a gallery moderator to try to rebuild a thumb, or you can edit the photo and replace the image.
But please note - when you edit a photo - it doesn't get fixed until our gallery sync runs - and that can be nearly an hour. So a lot of times people fix an image, don't see the fix immediately, try to fix again and get into a frustrated death spiral
I think the simplest solution is deleting and re-uploading as soon as you notice.
Sorry for the delay - I'm camped at the hospital with my mom.
