Default Gallery Details -- Camera

I was thinking it would be great to have an additional line when uploading artwork -- list the camera used. I often see threads asking about camera and thought this additional line on the upload would be useful. Of course, it would be optional. Maybe have it after the accessory line. What do you think?

I don't really think it would be something that's utilized in the gallery. There are plenty of threads asking for opinions. And, besides, a camera is only as good as its operator, so a good camera can have mediocre (or worse) results and a mediocre camera can have fabulous results...thus amounting to nothing that helps make a good decision.

Just my opinion, though.

You could perhaps get some advertising $$ from major camera companies and then a kickback if products are ordered from them through SCS. I know Kodak.com often has deals that are better than Amazon, etc. Also, a big camera purchasing time is the holiday season.

Well, this may have been true a decade ago, but with the advent of digital cameras, a novice can take some pretty great photos.
