Finding members on memberlist

How do I find a particular member on the memberlist without going from page to page to page? Is there a faster way? For instance, right now I'm looking for a member name that begins with an M. The only way I know to find her is to page - one at a time - through the hundreds of pages in the memberlist. This is just no fun.

Any suggestions? I appreciate any and all help.

Why not click on the PM, then use the find a member feature? You can do m* and get a big o' list. . .

I don't quite follow you... which PM are you talking about? there are times when I want to find a particular member via username but can't seem to locate any posts by that member and don't want to page through the memberlist... is there not some kind of search feature attached to this list?

Sorry so confusing. Trying to concentrate on too many things at once!

You can click on the PM button below anyone's posts in the forum. Then you can click on Find a username, and search using * as a wildcard.

No search funtion on memberlist. . . so this is a very roundabout way to find a username.
