Clearing Cache

Ok, it is stupid question time. I read all the time that people need to clear their cache to see updated information (like new signatures or avatars), but how does one go about doing that? I'm not super technically talented, obviously! LOL

In the forums, it's immediate. It's in the gallery that there's a lag.

I see my new siggy in the first post of this thread. The post linked below doesn't show my new siggy, for me anyway. The post below was created right before I created my new siggy. Shouldn't the siggy be retroactive, so to speak, on all of my previous posts?
