Chnge in Avatar... how do I get it so small?

I'd sure like to change my avatar since my current one is from 2004... but every time I try I can't seem to get it to work. I see the requirements are 80x80 pixels but my program won't go below 100x101. How on earth do I get it any smaller?? TIA!

OK, this is strange, but now that I post the question it shows up with my new avatar but when I checked a minute ago it was showing a red X...hmmm

Hi Kristin! There's a post at the top of this forum with some free online resizing tools, but you actually don't have to resize the photo - when you upload a normal sized photo, our software will resize it for you. I never resize mine.
