as of today we've dropped our relationship with the company that supplied our "network" ads. we have a number of ad sources, those we sell directly to companies like Gina K., Crafty Secrets, Scor-Pal et al are one source. we also accept ads from Google's network.
we've got a new program called Adtuition which we're really excited about, and then we had these other networks. call them the advertisers of last resort, they frequently didn't live up to a standard I was comfortable with. excessive animation, not relevant to crafting, inappropriate subject matter, poor taste, we've been getting all of that and it's really counter to what I want advertising at Splitcoast to be.
when you see an ad for a product or company that you actually care about, a lot of what we typically associate with "advertising" kind of gets turned on its head. instead of an intrusion, it's all of a sudden some useful information. that's what we want from our ad programs. companies like those I mentioned before, and our
member companies, we're honored and fortunate to have them participating here.
