adding to profile

Can anyone explain to me how to add text to your profile? I just got the avatar added but cannot figure the wording part. Please use simple sentences as I am computerally challanged-ha:mrgreen: Thanks so much, you're a great bunch to ask favors from.

I guess what I'm trying to do is add something like a quote or what my avatar is. Like how you have Kurtis and the blog info. I got all the rest up ok but would like to put something else on occasionally. Thanks

What you are trying to add (quote or explanation of your avatar) is called a signature. Click on Edit Signature in your User Control Panel and add your text there.

Kudos to you Vera for the help!! When I clicked on that before I didn't know what to do with the blank box so I just left...I really need to take a computer course to learn these terms. I am looking for something unique to put on there now...I was thrilled to be able to put my DD's photo up:O)
