What Up in the Gallery???
 

It's not my monitor, really!!!

All of the images on the Gallery thumbnails are fuzzy and grainy!! What's up? Is something wron.g? When I click on them for a close-up, it gets a little better, but honestly...not by much. Looks like there could be some good art in there today, but right now there arent clear details.

Anyone else having this problem or has my brain (and eyesight) just finally gone to mush? Or does this usually happen on Mondays after NUSs? I've only got a scant few hours today because DH is working from home and right now he is at the doc...Lord help me! ~ Kaylyn

Hmmm, for the most part they look okay to me. Some folks do have trouble getting good, clear images of their cards for uploading.

My first thought is check your monitor settings, same thing happened to me yesterday and my kids had been monkeying around with the computer. The color was set to 256 insead of high color. Go to your desktop and right click and on mine you get display modes and then choose high color and the higher setting. I have Windows xp, if you have a earlier version you might get desktop when you right click and then have to go to settings and then find the color option. Hopefully it's just an easy fix :)

I just checked out the gallery and everything looks fine to me so maybe there is something up with your computer settings??

From what I have seen of the gallery today it looks fine!

But I have had problems staying in the gallery section.
Just as I get ready to leave a post in the gallery I get kicked out!!!

Then I get a message....that there has been a problem and that it has been dispatched to the server.

Oh well I'll try later.


It is Monday, and as I can tell there are a lot of people on board today. and this might be my problem?

I was neither the Gallery *NOR* my monitor...it was my ISP!!!

Stupid MSN had to be reloaded onto my H/D over the weekend. When it did, it automatically reset the Accelerator feature to "Fastest." This wasn't a problem for any of the other boards that I belong to since the max number in their galleries are 12 and 15. But here on SCS where it's 48...well, let's just say it was a *HUGE* problem. Once I reset the Accelerator feature to "Normal" all of the photos went back to normal.

Just an FYI in case y'all ever see anyone post something strange like that again. Weird, isn't it??!!?? ~ Kaylyn
