Weirdness with links opening and no new tab

Normally when I open a link posted here, a new tab opens.

Not now. This is day 2 where either a new tab opens but it's blank, and the link has replaced the SCS tab, or just the second part so I have to back out to get back to SCS.

This is for links I post or others post.

Something up? Something I did to myself?

my default on my browser is set to open a new tab. ( notifying for the favorites thread tonight) and it is also reopening anything I click on in the tab I have open, and when I hit the like button it kicks me to the top of the thread and does not show that I "liked" something.

It's happening to me, too. At least, I think this is what you're talking about... I click on a link in a post, and it takes me to that place, but thread I clicked it from is now closed and the one I clicked is the only one open. It's been happening since yesterday.
