Hi! We don't allow any political, pornographic or otherwise offensive advertising on Splitcoast so there are two possibilities.
You may have picked up some spyware from another site. Spyware and adware frequently substitute their own ads on sites with ads, like ours. I recommend getting a good anti-malware/spyware/adware program and running it several times on your computer.
Sometimes political ads deliberately mislabel their category to sneak into ad networks, like our papercrafting ad network. In order to find out if that's what is happening and ban them, I would need you to do the following next time you see it: RIGHT click on the ad, and choose "copy link location" or similar language from the menu that pops up. Make sure you are using your right mouse button, not your left. When you have the url of the ad copied - open an email to
[email protected] and paste the link into the body of the email and send that to us and we will block it if it's a sneak-in ad or post it here.
