I uploaded a card and a different card is now in my gallery. This is my first time to upload so I hope I did not do anything wrong. Is there something I need to do on my end to remedy the situation?
I merged your 2 threads. I don't know why or how as Cami and I have been uploading according to stamp sets and not individual galleries, so I don't know how to 'fix' it, nor do I know what you can do (helpful, aren't I? ;))
Jenn and Co. will have a looksee when they get home. Sorry that I can't help more.

I too have a card in my gallery that is not mine. I wasn't sure what to do about it, so I did NOTHING! I forgot all about it, until I saw this post, maybe they can help me too! :-)

Hi guys! Sometimes this happens, unfortunately. We've not figured out *why* but it does happen. I'll makes sure to make mention of it this evening, and we'll see what we can do.
In the meanwhile, please send me a pm with your card or just click EDIT, and then reupload.

In the past I have experiend the wrong pic in my upload that has somehow fixed itself....But now I am experiencing a disappearing upload. The card was successfully uploaded, had views and a comment. Now all of a sudden it is gone poof..........is there anything to do besides reupload it ??? it is floating in cyberspace ???

Now all of a sudden it is gone poof..........is there anything to do besides reupload it ??? it is floating in cyberspace ???

Did you remember to give the file a unique name before you uploaded it? If it still had the generic name your camera or scanner gave it, then it likely was deleted in the periodic purge of duplicate picture files.

Just in case, try putting your screen name in all of your file names. Then you can be sure no one else is using the same one you are! With as many members as we have on this board, it's quite possible that it could have happened.

Yes... the file has to have a unique name (name your photo with .jpg), and give is some time okay ladies? We've had mutiple uploads of the same card. When that happens, the computer does a scan and deletes duplicates... we can't choose which one it deletes, so if you have comments already, they get deleted too. Please check your gallery, make sure you have done the above. Give it a couple hours....... if you have any questions about a certain upload, send me a pm with the link to your card in question. I'll get to it as soon as I can... me or Catie. Thanks for your patience while the gallery Queen is at convention.
