When you upload a card at, say 10:30 EDST, and it isn't approved until the following day, is it viewable in Today's Additions for 24 hours from the time of upload or from the time of approval?

Yes, I know it's 24 hours, but my question was 24 hours from "when". If it sits around for 8 or 10 hours waiting to be approved, does it stay up in Today's Additions for the entire 24 hours, or is it only up for 14 or 16 hours?

Sorry I missed your original question. Yes, images that are uploaded after our last approve batch (which is normally around 12:30 - 12:45 CST, sometimes later) will be approved first thing in the morning. Beate gets up early and gets those out right away. The Today's Additions is from the time the server received the file, so it will be available as long as is left. So yes, your thought is correct.

I guess I'll be uploading in the morning from now on! I thought some of my cards were dissappearing from the queue very quickly before the West Coast could view them.

I know the title says "today's addictions" ... but I like to view 24 per page as well as use the 7 days feature (there is also a 14 days feature)... that way I don't miss any of the wonderful postings. This allows me to go all the way back to the last one I viewed, even if sometimes it takes a day or two before I can return to the gallery. So far I haven't needed the 14 days search LOL (Both of these can be found within the blue bar directly above the photos.)
Thinking many others use this feature as well
Hoping this helps ... as it always feels better to at least know that others have viewed your beautiful creations
