Default Is there a way to save a PM to your sent folder once you've sent it?

I constantly forget that pm's are not automatically saved, and I just sent one without checking the "save to sent" box. Is there any way I can save it to my sent folder without resending the message?

Just my two cents - I think saving to sent should be the default. Not saving should be the option. Why wouldn't I want to save the messages I send to people? It's no different than email - and you have to choose not to save those by deleting them.

Thanks!

While I am thinking of it - I think it should be the same for comments on uploads. Notification should be the default.

Thanks again! !

1. Click on "Welcome, Rachelrose" up at the top right of your screen to go to your user profile.
2. On the left, under "Settings & Options", click on "Edit Options".
3. Under "Messaging & Notification", there's a Private Messaging box. Down at the bottom of that it will say "When sending private messages the forum can make a copy of the message in your Sent Items folder." Make sure the box under that is checked to save a copy of your sent PMs to your sent folder by default.
4. Click on "save changes" at the bottom of the page to save your preferences.

Aha! I should have looked before I asked! Thank you!

I suppose the message I just sent can't be saved? Even if I still have the window open with the message?

Maybe I could send it only to myself, and save a copy to my sent folder and delete the one that arrives in my inbox.

???
