Lightbulb Swap Forum Suggestion (and gallery suggestion)

I wonder if we couldn't have sub-forums in the Swaps forum? Like for recipes, scrapbook pages (then sub-forum again for 6x6, 12x12, etc?), anything-but-a-card, etc?

I've often wished the same thing for the gallery...a separate section for scrapbooking so people looking for cards won't have to scroll through all of the scrapbook pages & vice-versa.

Default Swap Forum Suggestion

I was about to post the same thing until I saw your post. I'm new to the forums and would love to start participating in swaps, but it's rather intimidating having to wade through all the titles to find something that works. I was going to suggest having subforums that separate things such as cards from scrapbooks pages, 12x12, 6x6, fronts only, SU only, NVR, etc. Also, there are swaps that are still up that closed in 2005. Whose responsibility is it to remove completed swaps? I know I'd participate in more swaps if it was easier to navigate through that thread.

Thanks!
Christy

Hi Christy,

I was beginning to wonder if anyone else had seen this post!

As far as I know, the moderators don't ever remove an entire thread unless it got nasty. That way people can go back to it if they want to recall something about it (like who the hostess was, who else participated, what they did, etc.). The hostess of the swap should have edited her title to indicate that it was closed.

I loved your suggestions for sub-forums! Maybe the powers-that-be will grant us this wish, too! They're giving us indexes for the stamp sets now (see the red links in my signature)!!
