I am finding it very slow when I move to another page, or want to add a post to a thread.
Thanks for the reply... It is doing the same thing for me. I just wanted to make certain it wasn't my computer..
I'm sure SCS will get 'it' fixed..LOL whatever 'it' is..
If it's only once in awhile, then I would say it's the site (server that it's on is running slow or there's too much traffic). If it's a constant problem, then I think it's your computer. It might help if you delete any large files that you have that you don't need (usually in your downloads or temp folder). You can delete your temp inet files & cookies. If you're running a program(s), it could slow down your surfing speed as well. If you have anyone in the house or know anyone that is computer savvy, you may want to ask them to run "msconfig" and remove some start up programs that are not needed or clean your registry. Good luck because I know how frustrated I get trying to surf through this forum while I'm trying to download large files. HTH

Where are my grandkids when I need them? I do "clear the cache" often, but I have problems with removing programs - I do not really know which ones I do not need and I am scared that I will remove something I do need.
I've found this site slow now and then lately. Not consistently slow, but every now and then it takes a minute or more to load a page or post a reply. I have cable internet, so it's unusual to have a site be slow--unless it's a busy night on YouTube or something.
I've noticed it too. It's not consistently slow though. I'm pretty sure it's not my computer... Can never be 100% sure, but my computer's new, all my security is up to date and I delete all the "junk files" pretty much daily. (Speaking of which, there's a great little free program called CleanUp! that gets rid of your junk for you... After you download it just click on Options and then Standard clean up and it'll go to work. I'm not affiliated with them, just a happy user.)

I've found it quite slow lately too ... BUT, there are tons more people coming to this site every day and I know that the SCS crew are doing their best to keep up!
