I keep getting kicked off!!!

I usually have to log in 2-3 times while I'm surfing on the coast (splitcoast).
There is also a box that I check to have me log in automatically, this never happens.
I tried to post a message in the buy/sell/trade forum today and everytime I hit submit it asked me to log in again. I attempted 4 times before giving up.

This used to happen to me repeatedly in one session. Another member suggested that I never logout when I am finished surfing the site. I tried this and since that time I have never once been logged out without my permission! Maybe Daven fixed something for me, I don't know! Good luck!

if you're having trouble staying logged in the first thing to try is deleting your "cookies". do this:

- go to the main page of the gallery
- logout, then click the login link
- click the 'Login Problems?' link, then click the Delete These Cookies button
- login as normal (if logging in from the forums, check the Login Automatically box)

as Laurie said, you probably don't need to bother logging off when leaving

I was having tons of trouble with this. It was driving me crazy I had to post things multiple times to get them to go and sometimes I just got frustrated and gave up. But then......

(triumphant music playing in background) I followed Daven's advice to the letter. It worked like a charm, I haven't had to re-login since!
