Default I'm a Fan Club member and I can't view anything!

I am very frustrated with this site! I have been a member, then when I read that we needed to become a Fan Club member to see everything that is on the site I became a Fan Club member. Now when I log on the only items that come up are member galleries and tutorials. What is going on? I depend on this site to give me ideas. Please remedy my situation and let me know how I can view everything.

Thank you

Geesh guys, I can see why you are frustrated but how many times has it been posted on here that there is construction going on for the month of October? We are all having times when we can't view the today's additions.

Let's be patient, Daven and the rest of the SCS team are working their little butts off to make this switch, and they've already graciously apoligized and kept us updated (see home page and multiple threads). Let's cut them some slack and thank them for the wonderful job they are doing. There isn't any other site out there like this.

I think it's really sad that this is the first post for both of you and it's to complain!

Edited to add: If there's a particular set you are looking for you can still look at it, just use search. Plus members galleries are nothing to discount, these ladies have a TON of great cards in their galleries.

dstfrommi thank you for your post. I came here to say some of the same things. It can be frustrating when you want your DD "fix" LOL!! But too, we have been *warned* many times that there will be lots of changes this month. Waiting will only make seeing the gallery that much sweeter.

I imagine it is even more frustrating for the Daven and the team working to make this a better place, knowing that there has to be some down time at any given time.

Thank you for all the hard work SCS team!

Good morning. It sounds like your subscriptions didn't go through automatically. That happens sometimes when you use the echeck feature, or send $ directly via paypal rather than use the links we have set up.

I know yesterday was a busy day for the Noltas, and today will be another one - why don't you girls send me a pm with the details of your paypal transactions? I will check in in a few minutes before I leave for today's regional event in Portland, and make sure that you have access.

Thank you for your patience and for your support!

Default I'm getting frustrated, too, but for a different reasoN?

I saw this thread and am just as frustrated - I paid for the $14.95, it hasn't seem to taken effect, yet paypal shows that it was paid for as does my bank account.

Saw this thread, saw the response email to send information to, copied all my paypal info to send to the email listed and it came back! Thought I typed it in incorrectly, so went back to paypal and used the help@ email for splitcoast and that one bounced back, too!

Now what? I'm not totally unhappy, but when I pay for something to receive an added benefit, I do expect to get those benefits.

TIA,
Katie

Are you sure you typed the address correctly? I leave out the first 't' all the time and don't always notice even when I go back and reread it.

Also, did you see Jenn's post? Apparently If you don't use the link provided on the SCS site, or pay with an e-check instead of a credit card or your Paypal balance, your membership won't be automatically activated and it takes longer to get you set up. I'm sure you'll be good to go soon!

we're in the midst of server changes, and today (Sunday) we made some changes to our e-mail service that caused e-mails to "bounce" temporarily. if you tried to e-mail us and had problems, try again and it should go through.

Thank you so much for letting me know that my subscription did not go through (you did not see my name so I am assuming that it did not go through). I will try to join again, hopefully it will work this time. However, I did go through the whole process through pay pal.
Thanks again,
Jenna Long

Default Fan Club Member who can't get Gallery

Hello

I know that they are warking hard on the gallery this month and I have been patient, but I recently read that paid Fan Club members could still log in to see the gallery. I am paid up but also have a lot of trouble getting on the gallery. Some days nothing at all, other days just the sets by alpha.

Did I read it wrong? Are Fan Club members affected the same way? Just think of all the wonderfull cards we will get to see when it is all updated.

Thanks for all your hard work.

When the gallery is UP, the fan club members can view it all. That "when," though, is the kicker ;) When it's down, it's down, for everybody. When it's up, the extra things fan club members can do are available to you, e.g., uploading pictures, viewing alphabetized set index, etc.

The thing is, as construction continues, the gallery goes up and down, sometimes for a long time, or only for a few minutes. Sometimes the while thing, sometimes just parts. Rest assured, though, when the gallery is down, it's down for ALL of us...hang in there...this too shall pass, lol!

Actually, everyone can still browse the gallery this month. It's just that non-members of the Fan Club have to take a slightly more roundabout way (searching member galleries as opposed to browsing alphabetical lists or checking "Today's Additions") to get to what they want. Fan Club members can upload during the upgrades, but everyone is subject to downtime when the crew is in there tinkering. Whenever I get an error, I'm usually able to get in just fine if I wait a few minutes and try again.
