Private Message question.

Hi, if someone said they sent me a PM, will anything highlight or show up, to alert me, that I have a private message?


I am not sure where I go, to get my private messages. I just want to know if I will have a notification of some type.

Up on the top right of every screen you'll see a little envelope icon. If there's a number beside it, that's the number of unread messages in your inbox. To read them, click on the envelope.

If you want to get email notification for PMs, then click on your username up at the top right of any page. Then look in the control panel, over on the left. When you see Edit Options, click on that. One of the options is to receive notifications for messages, so click on that to select it. Otherwise I don't think there's any other alert apart from keeping an eye on that little envelope icon.

Cook22, thank you. I have seen the envelope and there is no number by it. I appreciate your help and thank you for explaining everything. :-)
