PLEASE - Gift Memberships

Please make it easier to purchase a gift membership. I have been a member since April of 2006 and wanted to purchase one for a friend. She will be a terrific addition to this site. I am "unregistered" here because I thought I would be able to pretend I was my friend and get her set up without having to go through the mail but that was not an option either. It also isn't easy to find any "join now" options.
HELP ME PLEASE! I was told over the weekend to go to the "Pay Now" option but I cannot find that either.

I tried the donations address, PayPal wouldn't take it, I tried webmaster, again PayPal wouldn't take it. I found the fanclub@ splitcoaststampers.com address, it was accepted. I had sent an email to donations and didn't receive an answer.

I agree that gift subscriptions should be made easier.

yes you guys, you're absolutely right about gift subscriptions needing to be easier we just haven't gotten to this yet. I apologize for the confusion.

first of all, you need a paypal account (the only other option right now is to mail a check, see the fan club page for our address).

once you've logged in to paypal, look for the tab that says "Send Money". use that to send your payment to [email protected]. now you're done with paypal.

then send an e-mail to that same address, and give us the username of the member you'd like to gift. let us know too if you'd like the gift to be anonymous. if not, you might include a gift message in your e-mail to us.

that's it and we'll take care of the rest. you should receive an e-mail acknowledgment when your friend receives their gift.

again, we'll be making this simpler and easier in the future but for now this is your best option for gift subscriptions. thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated.
