Pinterest question

I hadn't really paid attention, but now I see the Pinterest and Facebook buttons on posts and galleries. Is there a way not to allow images to be shared on Pinterest or Facebook?

Hi Michelle,

Click on "welcome, brainangles" in orange at the top right of your screen. This will take you to your personal control panel.
In the column on the left, find the heading "Settings & Options". One of the choices there is "Edit Options". Click on that.
Scroll down to the "Miscellaneous Options" block near the bottom of that page. In there, there are three options for Facebook sharing. Click the one you prefer. Then click on the "Save Changes" button below the options block.

Although that only specifically notes Facebook, I'm pretty sure it also covers Pinterest.

No - it does not affect Pinterest. Any image can be shared on Pinterest. Actually any image can be shared on FB outside of our controls, just so you know. All they have to do is copy the URL and paste it. However, all links come right back here to your gallery.

Thanks. I had already chosen not to share on FB in my options. On my blog I have a "no pin" line of code which is supposed to prevent pinning. Just wondering if that option exists here as well.
