Default Page Loads, Thumbnail Views & Quick Replies

I think it just started this week . . . maybe last week . . . but I can't click/view thumnail attachments. It kills my whole system. Refresh fails and I get a gateway error . . the one that says page can't load. It happens everywhere.

I still have the previous issue where pages won't load. It seems like there's something that corrupts the entire session and I have to close the tab and sometimes the entire browser to kick start over again.

Often times I can't do quick reply either, it says I do not have permission.

Soon I won't be able to do anything LOL

------------------
The first time I clicked Submit I got a 10060 timeout error. Refresh fails to reload. Next, try launching SCS via bookmarks and tried to launch just the main forum page. No go. Closed entire browser, tried again and still no go. Load Galleries works. This is a normal experience for me.

Hmph. Are you using IE? I'm getting reports that IE is even more of a problem than normal...

Yes, I'm using IE 8. I'm going to switch to Firefox for a few days and see how the experience compares.

ya, I was beginning to think that it might be a firewall issue or sumthin'. We use Microsoft Security Essentials. We had Forefront prior to that, and now I'm thinking that these issues started right around the time he switched. My help desk guy (DH) is out of town this week but I'll get him right on it LOL He's worse than a crow for shiney new obsessions.
