Default Notifications of New Posts?

Hi - Is there something wonky with email notifications? I'm getting zip on certain threads I'm participating on. I'm signed in, of course, checked that I'm subscribed - though I never subscribe since by posting I'm automatically subscribed, etc.

Thanks!

*usually* that's an issue with either your email provider - yours looks like a work one - classifying us as a bulk sender.

But we could just be having email server hiccups. I'm getting tons of notifications, but there's no way I'd know if any were missing because I have a billion. Unless you reply to this and I don't get it

Just the normal email I've used here since day 1. (It was also my business email when I did consulting, which is why it looks "businessy.") Nothing is held back by a server or by my cloud provider. Heck, I wish they did sometimes.

I got notification of your post, but only one notification in a thread where maybe five people have responded?

If you're on instant notification, are you clicking through to the thread right away when you receive the notification? If not, I don't believe you get any more notifications until after you've visited the thread.

Sometimes I do click through, though not always. But I've visited the thread several times last night/today and only received the first person's notification. That thread doesn't like me.

I just remembered I get notifications in a thread I posted in one time only several months ago.

In any case, I did get an email about the most recent post in the thread that doesn't like me, so maybe it was a glitch.
