Default Is it okay to share work in the gallery you have subbed for publishing?

Hi. I've read a lot of material about uploading projects in the gallery and think all the information has fried my brain LOL! Anyways, what I was wondering is this, is it okay to share work in the gallery if you have subbed it to a magazine (for example) for publishing?

I don't know what the US magazines are like but here in Australia, depending on the magazine you have subbed to, you do not necessarily receive even so much as an acknowledgement of your submission. One magazine in particular can sometimes accept your submission months after they have received it.

I'm asking because I sub a lot of my work (scrapping and card making) as the $$$ for published work helps to pay the scrapping bills LOL! But if something is accepted for publication it needs to be removed from public viewing, including wherever it may be on the www.

Any and all advice would be ever so gratefully received. Thanks. Alz

Oh and I'm sorry, I also meant to ask whether it is okay to upload cards/LOs/other projects that have been made using paper crafting techniques but perhaps not stamping? Being a scrapbooker (mainly) these days a lot of my cards are collage, mixed media based and do not necessarily include stamping. Again, thanks. Alz

SCS does not limit according to whether or not an item has been submitted for publication. That's left up to each member who shares their work here.

Here in the USA, we do have some magazines that will not publish what is already available on the web. It's easy to understand that they don't want to publish something in their magazine, asking for sale of the magazine, what has already been shared freely on the internet. Hope that makes sense.

Hope this helps! ;)

Personally I'd say, if it's papercrafting, we'd love to see it!
