Default Need Help - uploaded cards are too tiny!!!

Help!!!! I bought a new scanner and can't figure out how to resize the scan of my cards to make them bigger when they are uploaded. I also bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 but there is so much to figure out it is overwhelming si I have no idea how to use that to resize. My scanner is a HPPhotosmart 2575 All In One. Can anyone out there help me please???
Thanks so much.....

BUMPING FOR YOU...

Not sure if all scanners work alike; but on mine, once I save the picture, I then click on it and have all kinds of options to edit. When not sure (forget a lot LOL), I just run my mouse over the icons and they indicate their purpose.

Hoping this helps a little bit.

When I preview mine (which I select first), there's a little box in the corner with arrows pointing out to each corner. By clicking on this, it resizes the image to fill the preview screen. Then I go ahead with the scanning part (BTW, it's an Epson Perfection 1250)

After looking at your gallery, I see what you mean. Either of your software programs (scanner or Adobe) should have a "Preview" button -- click on that (once your card is on the scanner). Once the scanner does the preview, usually there are dotted lines around your image -- you should be able to adjust/drag the lines closer around your card, to crop it. Then click on "Scan" and your image will be scanned as you selected it.

HTH!

Somewhere in your scanning options you should be able to choose the size and DPI(dots per inch). Your DPI should be set at 200-300.

If you need any help with Adobe Photoshop just ask. That is what I use.
