Default Malaware

I have had to delete receiving tutorial posts from SCS by email- my browser will not open them as they say it contains Malaware. Are you sorting this problem? I am not downloading or posting now til it's sorted. Really missing this site :(

Kat,

We were given an all clear last week. Can you tell me 1) what browser are you using and 2) when the latest incident was?

We miss you, too! :(

Hey Kat - odds are that message is cached. We have instructions at the top of the forum for clearing your cache, and a reboot wouldn't hurt.

Also, please go into your antivirus settings and designate Splitcoast as a safe site. Some of them flip that switch after an alert like our false alarm last week.

Lori, I think it was Saturday, I can't remember and I use Chrome or Firefox depending what I'm doing.
I clear my cache everyday but I will try to reset the antivirus settings. Thank you Lydia.

I'll re apply for emails from here and see what happens.

It may not be totally getting cleared - that's why I'd try a reboot or using our instructions just to be sure. What's cached is the path you took from the newsletter to get here, and both Firefox and Chrome cached those.

For once, IE didn't

When you visit directly you have no problems, so that's how I know it's cached for certain - it's the click path from the inkling that is stuck in cyberspace
