I am subscribed to 6 threads for swaps but since the upgrade have not been getting the updates by e-mail. I tried to unsubscribe and subscribe again but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas??

Have you double checked the setting in "Edit Options" in your control panel? The second box down is "Messaging & Notification" within that box is one called "Default Thread Subscription Notification". You might need to change that.
OK, not that computer literate, can't find in the control panel what you are talking about!! Thanks for trying to help maybe some further detail will help more

No problem! If you click on your name at the top-right of the page (all pages), you will go to your control panel. The first place you end up is the "Edit Profile" page. On the left will be a grey listing -- this is the control panel menu. In the first section of that is an item called "Edit Options" -- click on it.
Once you've made your changes, make sure you scroll to the bottom and click "Save Changes"
I'm also not getting email notifications and have made sure that the daily emial notification is turned on.
I knew that at one point there was a problem with older subscriptions, but I also havn't been getting the ones that I subscribed to in the last few days.
Any other suggestions?

hmm jeri, not seeing anything that would indicate you're not getting mail from us. other than double-checking your settings...I'm not sure. we've gotta do some deeper investigation of this still, there's nothing readily obvious that indicates any kind of problem, yet people aren't seeming to get mail reliably.

I'm having the same issue. I'm going to re-check my settings. I originally posted under "Demo Chit Chat". Didn't even know this part existed because I never wander out of my little demo world up there!
Well I thought I had it figured out, obviously not, cause I still did not get e-mailed when there were new postings to the threads. Does anyone else have other suggestions? Thanks for all your time and help
Just wanted to add here that I am still not getting my daily notifications. I get the email about PM's just not the subscribed threads....any suggestions?
I just checked the settings mentioned above, and it says default is "daily notification" - I have not had e-mail notices since before all the "big" changes started. Not a big deal, but it was nice knowing if there was something I wanted to check out.
Wasn't there a problem a while back with AOL users getting their notifications? I think the system was interpreting the e-mails from SCS as spam. Could people with other ISPs be having a similar problem?

I don't use AOL. On mine, I can check out the junk mail listings - but other items from SCS come in the regular e-mail. So I don't think that is the problem.
Happy happy! I just started getting updates this week! I don't think I'm getting them for every thread I'm subscribed to yet, but I am starting to get them again!
