I posted a card yesterday and now it's gone from the gallery. I didn't get a pm or a message about it, but it's been removed. Can anyone tell me why that might be?
You need to give your photo a specific name. If it is the generic name the computer gives it when you transfer your photos from your camera, chances are that it will be the same as someone else's. I usually change the name to whatever the title of my card is and then add my SCS name too. HTH!
Maybe you named it something that another SCS had already done. It probably thought it was duplicate so SCS system booted it out. Just try renaming it and upload it again.
hmm...to be honest, I can't remember what I named it, but I did name it something.
There may be some confusion between the actual FILE name, and the title.
When you take a pic with your digital camera, it is assigned a FILE name, like DSC748. When you save it in your computer, you need to give image file a different name; if you don't, and you upload it, while you may input a "title" in the field fox on the upload page, the system searches for duplicates of FILE names and the system regularly deletes any dupes found automatically.
HTH,
