e-mail notification problem

I am not getting e-mail notification for subscribed threads or the Weekly Inkly. I recently switched e-mail addresses, but I clicked on the option for e-mail notification when I made the switch. Any suggestions? Keep it in simple English as computer talk is foreign to me.;) Thanks.

I thought it was just me, but I am having the exact same problem. I'm subscribing to threads but not getting an email notice when someone posts to that thread??? Why is this happening??? Thanks

let's see, there are some common problems that will prevent you from receiving e-mails from us.

- first and foremost, check the e-mail address in your profile carefully, and make sure it's accurate (to get there, click your username at the top of this page).
- check your spam or junk mail box and make sure e-mali from us isn't getting treated as spam
- if your e-mail has in-box quotas or other restrictions, make sure you're not exceeding them or our e-mail won't get through
- if you have special spam-blocking software (Earthlink subscribers especially) it may be blocking our e-mails waiting for a reply from us. this is a manual process that we can't hope to keep up with, so make sure that these two addresses are approved senders:
