Question changing # of images?

Someone posted the link below in the forums to change the number of images on the page. Nobody seems to have had a problem with it except me. It says that I do not have permission to view that page. Any ideas why I wouldn't have permission?

LACYQUILTER helped me with this. Here is the instructions from her.

Actually, you can 'cheat' the system to get to 90. Change the views to a number other than the one that is already selected. For example, say you are on 48. Switch to 36. After it switches, highlight the number 36 in the URL line, change it to 90 (or whatever) and hit enter. You will now have the number you entered.

I learned this neat trick from Daven, but I can't remember where it was posted, so I hope I explained it correctly. I have to do this often, because my computer locks up & I have to reboot, so I lose this default. -- Try it!

Thank you, but that won't work for me either. :( When I highlight the number I changed it to, it won't accept anything other than what's listed there.

are you highlighting and changing the number in the address (URL) line? here is part of what the address line says when it displays 48 per page

....t=&thumbsonly=0&perpage=48&cat=366....

you have to change the 48 to 90

Thanks so much. I was changing it in the little box, not in the URL. It's working now. I appreciate your help.
