Default General questions

I've enjoyed this site since late last summer. Honestly, I'm like an addict and if I don't get my "fix" daily, I feel I'm missing something. I do have a couple of questions that if anyone can answer, I'd greatly appreciate it. I am still trying to understand and truly appreciate all that Splitcoaststampers has to offer.

First, why is it when "today's additions" are posted, there are some duplicate pages?

Is there a particular time that new posts are added through the day?

Is there a reason why when I know I've seen a particular card with a particular stamp that was used and attempt to search by the stamp name that the card doesn't show up? This only happens when I fail to add it to my favorites the first time I come across it and then try to go back and find it!

I still feel I have loads to learn. Still a little bit of a newbie. I haven't uploaded any cards as just about everything I do is "cased" from all of the beautiful projects I see on this website. It is a true gem. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful inspirational tool.

Cards are uploaded throughout the day.

You might see a duplicate if someone made a mistake when uploading.

If you can't find a card listed by the set name in the set listings, you either: are not a fan club member or perhaps they listed it under a different set they used....

for example, if I use 3 sets on a card, it will only be in one of those set galleries.

Hope that makes sense!

Come chat with us! Only 11 posts since summer... it is time to come play!

Kimberly's right! Except for the bolded part. Fan Club member or no, you can still see the cards sorted by set listings. Make sure that you are logged in (and you would be if you can add to your favorites) and you should see all the galleries by sets with no problem.

Another reason cards would not be listed in the gallery by stamp set: Right now, we have turned off the need for approvals for Fan Club members (this is only temporary). MANY of the cards uploaded in the past two weeks are not in the gallery by stamp set, as they were just uploaded to Member Gallery. You would not find them on a search unless they included the set names in the keyword fields, or if you did an advanced search.

Hope that helps!
