Gallery uploads not working
 

Lydia--I am trying to upload to my gallery from my laptop and it is not working. I am doing it the same as always and nothing is coming up to upload. My friend Kelly alerted me to this and she has tried also from her laptop and also from her phone. I think it just started today. Thanks!

I am having the same issue. Tried from 2 different browsers without success

Oh good! Its not just me. Here's a screen shot of what I see after I click to choose a file. The choose file box looks odd. After I click on choose file, t looks like it uploaded to the right of the box instead of in the box. But nothing shows up in the files selected box.

I see other cards are being uploaded, so it isn't the whole site. But at least it isn't just me! Then I would really have trouble figuring it out on my own!

I was able to upload by posting card to my blog first and then pasting in a link BUT I cannot do a direct upload. I have even restarted my PC and logged out and on again to Splitcoaststampers

I tried clearing my cache since that's usually the first suggestion. Didn't help.

We had a release today so something must have broken. Unfortunately I am traveling :(

As a temporary work around, I was able to upload tonight, but I had to use the box below the one we usually use. I already had the picture on my blog & it let me upload using the image URL (from my blog) instead of from my laptop. :) So if you have your image online somewhere (like your blog), you can upload that way.

Julie what browser did you use to grab the image from your blog? I tried and could not get that to work for me using Chrome.

I use a Mac so Safari is my preferred browser. I only use Firefox if I have to.

It also works using Firefox. You do have to copy the image url & paste it into the box then hit upload.

I used Firefox and Julie's method worked for me.

I finally got the URL address to work from my blog. I uploaded to my blog, grabbed the image URL and then deleted it from my blog. LOL! The work around does work.

I just did it with Chrome. I added my photos to an otherwise-blank blog post & published it. I right-clicked on each photo, chose the copy image address option, and then pasted that link into the field on the upload form at Splitcoast. Worked great! Then I just had to delete the blog post. HTH! :)

Sorry, I just realized Lisa already got it to work. Can't figure out how to delete my reply! :(

psssttt! Susie..it also works from Pinterest if you put your card there first. I imagine it would also work w/ FB.

Ohhhh thank you Julie. I will try that right now. I'm hosting this week's Teapot Tuesday and I've got myself in quite a pickle.

I'm waiting to upload until after its fixed. I don't have a blog and don't use pinterest.

It's our highest priority! They should be in the office in an hour or two.

I'll be on the road all day today so just post questions or issues here

This side of the pond is having problems too!

No uploads from me until all is fixed. So grateful for the techy gurus. SCS is the only social media site I use. It's addicting enough, and I'll admit I am having withdrawals :)
