Gallery Slide Show Problems?

When trying to view a specific member's gallery; after 3 to 4 of the artwork, the gallery skips over to other members' galleries. I can't tell if it is jumping to the same key word(s) - its just befuddling. Is there a problem known to SCS?

This happened to me earlier and I realized I had gone into my gallery first and then did a search or something. After I went straight in I didn't have the problem again.

I went in the DD gallery (I do not have a gallery of my own), I selected a card by one of the artists there, clicked on her name and selected her gallery view. I noticed that the slide show is selecting cards uploaded on the same day.

What do you mean by straight in? Maybe I'll give that a try as well.

Well I meant to not be in any other gallery before you do a search. But it sounds like you were "straight in" Maybe the persons gallery was small and it went on to the next gallery.

Okay I was just on a gallery and it did that to me too. I was leaving a comment and then just wanted to click on the "next" arrow. Well I got someone elses work. Maybe it is not within the gallery but within the stamp set theme or something like that.

Anyone else having this problem or know a solution?

Okay I figured it out. I really paid close attention when I went back and the slide show option is only for the stamp set collections. Mystery solved.
Now what about the mystery of the gals who met on the plane to Vegas?

What you said in the earlier post (the one before this) about making a comment and getting the similar gallery, I knew about. It never used to work the way its doing now.

The gallery I wanted to view had more than 13 pages by the same artist, but instead of showing her work, it jumped to uploads done on the same day. As I tried throughout the day, and clicked on other cards in her galleru, up popped a funny old almost naked man. OMG I thought - SPAM. But it was actually a funny card uploaded by someone else - and of course, it would happen on the one day I asked my hubby to sit down to view this artist's beautiful work. LOL

What's the mystery you're talking about about the gals who met on the plane to Vegas? :confused:

There's a thread about a gal who met someone on a plane to vegas and was told about SCS. Now she's trying to find her. I don't know how to link but the thread is "We met on a plane to Vegas." Just another small addiction. I post there everyday.
