Gallery Album Help needed, please
 

Hi, all!

In regards to the galleries, how can a person get her pictures moved from the main gallery for herself to an album? Or does she have to upload the pictures again?

Here's what I have done. First I have created an empty album and named it whatever I wanted to use it for. Then when you bring up your image that is already loaded, you click edit photo. In the list of categories (stamp sets, etc.), your album should show up at the end of the list. You can then choose that and your pic will be moved into your own gallery. It will have to go through the approval process again, but it's no big deal! Hope that works for ya.

Barb is right. :) *However* we are experiencing some issues with member albums right now, so I'd wait a little before moving them. Hopefully we can have some answers soon!

Will they still be "searchable" by the stamp set? Or are they taken out of that gallery/category and moved just to your album? Where can I find more info about albums? (having a *new* moment again)

If they are in your album, there are no details. Just what you type in the description. They are not listed in the gallery/category, and just live in your album.

Not quite sure on the search question, since I don't remember if there is a keyword field. It used to be that stuff in albums did not come up with a search because of the lack of detail fields. I haven't played around much with the albums, so don't have a real answer to that.

Marianne, the Touch of Nature Gallery is there. Click on "touch of nature gallery" - it's a link. It is listed in the stamp sets by letter... I think it's the N-P sets.... they're in alphabetical order. :)

Yes, there is a keyword field in member albums, so items there *should* come up in searches, I believe.

What am I doing wrong?
 

I'm trying to move a card from my main gallery to an existing album. I saw Barbara's instructions above. But, I can't find my albums in the category list. Can someone direct me? Has this changed since the original post? I thought I uploaded to this album but it ended up on my gallery.

When you click EDIT underneath the image, you will see the list of categories. Your album *should* be at the very bottom of the list.

Hey, Jenn, my go-to-gal! At the bottom of my list is "T-Spotting." Couldn't find my albums anywhere. I have down the procedure to upload to an album directly and I made 3 albums to put things into, but I have a lot of things in my gallery I want to move to my albums (cards that aren't mine, especially) and it's just not working for me. Help! :confused: Are they still having "issues?"

Jen, let me see if I have this correct. I just uploaded a bunch of pics from AC Regionals. I want them to be in the SU Events album, but I also want to "clean up" my own gallery and move these into an album within my gallery. If I move them to the album within my gallery, they will no longer be in the AC Regionals gallery in the SUB, correct?

I have four albums but Beate said that she couldn't see my FEB VSN one either. :???:

I just noticed another problem in my gallery... actually it's in my favorites... my cards are showing up twice, then when I deleted one, it deleted both....

Just tried this and my album didn't show up at all - I have only just made the album, so will that make a difference?

anyone have any idea why my album isn't showing up then? I've made another one now - and neither is showing up on the "move to" list.

You can try going to 'My Albums', and under 'Actions' click upload photos. That might work.

Thanks, but I was hoping to move photos that are already in my gallery. I wanted to gather all my SB pages together in one place.

I'm also having the same problem... I am trying to organize my gallery by adding albums for the new user groups I just joined. I am trying to move my uploads from my directory to an album. I'm not having any luck using the instructions previously posted... I am also getting tee spotting as my last option in the list. I ended up deleting some of the RAKs I received and then re-uploading them into my RAK album BUT now I see they are no longer in the RAK gallery. I think I'm messing things up more than I am organizing! Can someone help me? Thanks so much!

Anyone? I'm still getting "tee spotting" as the last item on the list - not my own albums.

Gallery/Album question
 

I was wondering if I take a card that is in my gallery and move it to an album, I see that it is taken out of my gallery... so, my question is...

Is there a way to keep it in both places in order to keep the Card Info listed from when it was posted to your gallery??? Or is it kept there since you uploaded it that way??? maybe I am thinking too much... LOL

An album is like it's own gallery so no you can not have it in two places.

The description is not listed in the albums and I don't know why. I personaly would like to see it there.

I am interested in organizing MY FAVORITES; cards, business, scrap pages, etc. Can we do this? Thanks!
