Recvd email that an old card has been moved to a different gallery category
Hi Lydia,
I received an email from SCS this morning saying that one of my cards has been moved to a different gallery - which I have had happen before - except that the card in question was one I uploaded September 7, 2009 - almost 2 years ago!!
Speaking only for myself, when I'm browsing through the gallery and find a card that's been uploaded simply to the person's member gallery rather than to an SU stamp set category or a technique category, I'll go ahead and move it, no matter how long ago the card was originally uploaded. That way it's easier for other SCSers to find if they are looking for ideas for a particular technique or stamp set.
Also, I occasionally find cards that were uploaded to the wrong stamp set category (some of those SU set names are too similar and can be easily confused!), or things like a card made for any occasion using Unity stamps uploaded to the gallery for the SU stamp set called All Occasions. So I'll move them to a more appropriate gallery category.
Oh, that's OK - I didn't mind that it was moved - just was surprised it was so much later then when it was uploaded. It's great that cards can be moved into the appropriate galleries - sometimes I am not sure where to put something so thank goodness you gals know where things should go.
It was me. If I move a card and I think somebody still isn't sure how to upload things to the most appropriate gallery I'll send a message explaining why it was moved, but I was pretty sure I didn't need to do that with you, and as I'd already sent about 5 messages explaining why, and it was getting late last night, I'm afraid you didn't get the explanation PM, just the automatic email :oops:! And the reason was similar to the explanation PH gave - there were a lot of cards in the Quick Cards gallery that were quick-to-make cards, not cards made using that set . We were spring-cleaning that particular gallery yesterday.

While you're cleaning....there is a spongebob (cute) card in the gallery for SU Solemn Stillness set. I think there was another cute card next to it that didn't belong there either! I was scrolling through the other day looking for ideas to use my Solemn Stillness set and got a good giggle when I came across Spongebob!
That's fine Sabrina - don't worry. You gals have such a huge behind-the-scenes job - I don't know how you keep up with it all to keep this fabby place going.
Had a giggle about the Spongebob card being in the Solemn Stillness gallery - talk about polar opposites!
