Error messages
 

I'm getting many error messages, like 403 unauthorized or bad request/cloudflare. I eventually get where I want to be but it takes time.

Jean, does the 403 happen when you are opening several tabs? I know you've mentioned it before and I hadn't come across it. But when I could finally believe that links might be truly fixed, I took a deep breath and compiled the master challenge lists for the TLC and WTUI for the year and fixed issues from last year. And I had a huge number of 403 errors when opening all the links to verify them; I had to just take my time and cleared the cache a couple of times. Cloudflare errors for me have usually been an SCS server issue and generally brief.

I get this a lot when I click on a link someone has posted for viewing... not only SCS but also on You Tube when someone lists sites for products. I just close out of them.. Never knew why.. I will have to pay attention and see how many sites I have open at one time.. thanks ! .

Yes, Sabrina, the 403 thing happens when I open a new tab on SCS, but not on any other sites. The bad cloudflare thing only happens when I comment on somebody's card and then 'submit'. I looked up 'clear the cache' to makes sure I knew what you meant. apparently it's a myth that my computer will run faster if I clear the cache. My computer is old and slow, getting worse. I would like a new laptop, the prices are crazy right now. If I clear the cache, will I lose certain passwords that I have saved, like for shopping websites? I know it's probably not wise to do that but I simply can't keep track of passwords.

If the passwords are saved by your browser in a password list like Chrome has, clearing your cache will leave those. But yes, login info could be cleared.
