I used to be able to edit posts here if I forgot something. I just wanted to add something to a post I made a few minutes ago in demo chit chat and I read where it says "you may not edit posts"... when did that start? In THIS forum I'm in right now, it says I *can* edit posts. I'm confused, what's the deal?

Juli, there's a very long thread about this here:
Forums at Splitcoaststampers

In a nutshell, though, SCS suspended the edit function in all but a few of the forums due to abuse of the system. While most people use the feature to clean up grammar and spelling goofs, some were using the feature to "clean up history," as it were. Making abusive remarks and then going back later to edit out what they said to try and hide it. SCS decided that people just needed to commit to what they posted, and hopefully learn to think twice before submitting...

It's kind of fun to watch some of the typos and "think-os" that occur!
