Is there any way to delete several favorites at one time. I have been a SCS member for over 5 years and would like to delete some of my older favorites. I would love to know how to better organize my favorites so I can find them quicker.
Thanks for all you do!
Sharon

Unless they've changed something recently, you'll have to do it one by one -- it's a ROYAL pain in the rear, and I really wish they'd add a little check box in the thumbnail view so you can select and delete multiple entries at once. It can take HOURS if I have lots that I want to delete from my faves, so half the time I just don't bother.

Yes - that's what I thought. It seems like an easy fix to me. That's why I've got about 44 pages of favorites. I don't bother looking through them any more cause I can't ever find what I want.

I decided to clear out some of my very old favorites and realized that when I clicked on the 'heart' that the card was removed from my favorites without taking me back to the first page. It doesn't look like it is removed at first but the count went down. I opened another window of my favorites and all those that I had clicked on are gone. Hope this makes sense.
I had a ton of pictures in my favorites at one time too. I have a Mac laptop that I used iPhoto to organize about 9000 pictures into. I have deleted about half of those (older, different style, etc) and it has made searching for ideas much easier. All the lovely ideas are in folders for their stamp set, and I am in the process of keywording those photos. I can search by any keyword I like.
But, many don't have a iPhoto to make that organization a piece of cake. You might try using your My Pictures folder and a simple photo editor like Microsoft photo editor to make folders of pictures of cards. This would be the way I would do it. I don't often need the description.
If you want to save the whole page (including the description) try making folders in your favorites and adding the pages of your favorite cards in your favorites in IE.
Hope that helps for your organization. Other people may have more ideas?
PS to Sharon...I delete from my faves folder one by one...but I start at the back (the last page) and go as far as I have time for. I delete more from that end than the first part! When I have to stop, then I jot a note as to which page to start on next time. Works for me!

This would be a great idea!! I'm all for checkboxes for multiple deletions... bumping this to the top as a reminder.... SCS? Pretty please?? Or is it harder than we think??

Love your idea!! I fav far too many things - to be able to delete them quickly would be fabulous , if SCS could make that happen!
thanks you guys for keeping our attention on this. we have a long long list of development priorities and I'm constantly looking at those and juggling the list. improving the organization of favorites was on our list for sometime this year, but it's been slipping. I'll see what I can do to get it moved up the list again.
By the way, Daven, I clicked on your signature line.
I wonder what my husband would say if we ever won the lottery and I tried to buy that man out... "Dear, what would you think of adding nine two-headed animals to our menagerie?" no more stamp budget!
Seriously - I'll never understand why the paying public keeps these sorts of businesses going, but I was thrilled to read about the good-hearted woman and that she is providing surgical correction for the pup
Thanks Daven! I clicked on your siggy line too - and oh! I did not know that Freak Shows - even animals - still existed. What a sad article, other than to know that the puppy has been adopted and looked after by that kind woman.

I just loved the quote, still makes me giggle like a school girl every time I read it

Gotta say it, Daven - you always have fabulous quotes in your siggy line. I still remember the one - costco mango's - if loving you is wrong, I don't want to know - or something like that. Good one's Daven! I'd love to hear you laugh like a school girl. Could put that on you tube or U tube - whatever it is , and link that up for us here on SCS??????? I'd enjoy that!!!!!:-D
I remember the mango one, too! I noticed it last year around this time, I think, when we were all stalking Daven for his big announcement. Was that a year ago?! Whenever ~ it's been smooth sailing since, hasn't it?!
Know what you mean about things striking you funny every time... and glad you had a link for this one or I'd really start to wonder....
Nice having this little chat with you both, Daven and Deb LOL!!
I guess I'll have to visit this forum more often and check out signature lines!! I started a thread in GS once about great signature lines... I'll have to search it out again
I was looking for an answer about removing several selections from my favorites gallery at one time and the search brought up this thread. I thought maybe since last summer a fast way had been devised but it doesn't look that way. Anyone know if the solution to the problem is still in the works?
