I'm getting database errors on and off. I cleared my cache but it still happens. It isn't predictable. Happens sometimes when I click to reply, sometimes when I click to read a post. And if I click back arrow and try again once or twice, its OK. Chrome on Android tablet....

Ithas happened to me twice in the past few minutes. I wanted to go to the next page of a thread and got the error message. It just happened again when I tried to change threads. Windows 10, Windows edge, HP pc
Wow ... they came up on pics that I clicked on .... my own cards etc. And just now I uploaded 7 cards .... yes 7 cards and hit the upload and got a crazy saying that splitcoast is not uploading now ... all that work gone! I am not very happy needless to say .... but stuff happens eh!
I hadn't been having any problems with this issue all week, but today I've had both Diane's message when uploading and frequent database error messages in the forums. Cleaned cache and all the usual....
I am seeing the date base errors in the forums mainly. if I get in, and try to click on another thread ( sometimes behind the scenes threads) and so, I am closing the browser and trying again. ( that seems to be working )
(or less people are using the site this moment lol)
I have better luck getting into the site from clickable gallery links in my email also.

Looks like I am having the same problem... I still can't upload here at splitcoast. Maybe a someone can take a look. I can click on the link to upload, I can upload my photos and I can enter all the info in the blanks, when I push submit it goes to a white empty screen and sets there. It never finishes and it never posts to my gallery.
I'm trying to upload a card, tried last night too and all I got was a blank screen. Today I was able to put in my card, but when I clicked on Upload and Continue, I again got a blank white screen. Any ideas! Help!

I had that too - I clicked back one screen on the browser and then hit submit and it worked. Several people have reported problems, so I am sure it will be fixed ASAP. Several people have said that going back and then forward again, maybe a couple of times, works in the end. I know it's frustrating, but it does generally seem possible to upload if one persists.
I am get the error the Alphabet Challenge thread - Round 6 too when posted in the thread and send replies in pm emails too. I am using Firefox thanks Linda
Hi Sabrina & Maggie, so glad I read this have had the most frustrating 12 hours trying to upload with out success will just have to be patient and wait for the problem to be fixed. Maybe I could do some house work instead...:lol: :lol: :lol:.
I see the upload club is increasing. I got one card to upload, just got lucky. As with you, I would upload four cards, input info, click on submit & poof, it gone. I sent an email to the "contact us" on the issue.
Error message: HTTP 500 error. That's odd... the website can't display this page. The site may be under maintenance or could have a programming error."
Sign me up for the Upload Problem Club! It's sort of hit and miss. First time I tried to upload I got that HTTP 500 error. Second time the card went through. After filling out all the information for my card, I tried to complete the upload process and got that same HTTP 500 error. Very frustrating!!!
Yes - our network ops team is working on this. It's most likely a denial of service attack, so it's not just you. We have a call today so we'll chat about it. Hopefully we will get relief soon.
Still getting errors. When I click on a link in a thread to a card I get the error. Just keep trying, and eventually get to the card. Also have same trouble getting into threads. Takes a couple of times.
I've been getting the error sporadically all afternoon. It just happened again a couple of minutes ago(can't remember where I was going though). I just keep refreshing and eventually the page loads. At first I thought it was one particular thread but it happened to me when going to my inbox, going back to the home page, and in multiple forums/threads. Then I thought it must be our network but I guess not since others are seeing it too. I'm in chrome.
I tried the cache clearing trick, filling out all the fields, reloading and/or refreshing the screen and still cannot get the upload to work. Argh!!!! What is the fix? Very frustrating!!
