Two posters' posts keep disappearing. It's weird, because they still post. So I guess they aren't banned, but the thread is now all weird and convoluted. Any help would be appreciated.
Those same two people are/were posting in the Mitt Romney thread too, and now the posts are gone from there.

It's not just those two. There's more, which is why I was wondering it it was a technical problem, or what. I feel like I'm talking to figments of my imagination.
Well...I would appreciate knowing if it was a technical problem or whatever so that I can make the informed decision not to engage the offender, or just ride it out until things get fixed.
The whole idea that we should all be kept in the dark when something like this happens is beyond me. I don't understand what purpose it serves other than to allow others to speculate, especially when the poster in question is very much involved in the discussion of the threads.
Are we all suppose to pretend they never existed and pretend not to notice the gaps in the history of the thread? It's all too strange. Reminds me of one of those sci-fi movies where TPTB put on a facade of a Utopian society. However, there's an underground movement that is being squelched with all kinds of killing, death, destruction, and censorship in the shadows and back alleys. LOL It's absurd, no?
So if there's a troll...big deal.

there was a pretty benign seeming poster for the past month or so whose posts consistently disappear. Can't remember the name right off hand, but she didn't post anything really controversial from what I saw. It was happening all over SCS to her, not just CE... so not sure the troll aspect has anything to do with it or not...

marieos was the other poster. I just went back and looked since I remembered commenting on her posts disappearing. It was in a poll about SU going unmounted. Her comments didn't seem trollish, and neither did the ones I'd seen in CE... they were simply GONE. (except the quotes, of course.)
