Default Can't do Advanced Search

When I click on "Advanced Search" and type in my keyword/s, I get a message saying "There seems to be a problem with the Splitcoaststampers database" (or something to that effect.

I don't do a search that often, but I remember several weeks ago I got the same message and thought it was just a fluke and went on to other things. Now I'm wondering if there's a problem with the site, or with me!

I'm not having any problems with it so it may be on your end. What is the error message that pops up?

I just checked again and I get the same message "There seems to be a problem with the Splitcoast database." Then it says to hit "Refresh" which doesn't help the problem. It also says that a message has been dispatched to the technical staff and that I can also contact them. When I click on the blue words "Technical Staff," Outlook Express comes up but not an address for the Technical Staff.

I can do a regular Search just fine. It's only when I try to do an Advanced Search that I have the problem.

If it is on my end, how do I go about resolving it?! I'm not that computer-saavy. Thanks for your help!!

Sounds like it may be us, and not you. I'll email Scott (though he gets the "technical staff" emails.

Default Hum...getting the same message on Advanced Searches

I am getting the same message as brainerdgal when I do an advanced search. I can't even do a regular search without eventually getting the same message. It takes a good minute or two to get to the error message however. I tried it several times, because I happened to be looking for the set "Love It" and thought with such common words I must be overloading the system with "hits". So I refined the search using the advanced search with no luck--still the same message.

Thanks for checking into this!

I had that problem earlier this morning, but now it's fixed. Is yours still not working?

I came on a few minutes ago to check out what was happening with this. I tried "Simply Sent Kits" in Advanced Search and still got the same message as before. Then I just tried Search and got a ton of matches.
