Hello to everyone that is "lost" on AOL. I just read the info on us not being able to get mail from the server. I was wondering what I did wrong when this new site came out ... I stopped getting replies to things. I was so sad. Then I went on the site, and it would say I had a pm. Wondered what I did wrong in signing up for the thread, or whatever. At least I know now.
Anyone else out there feeling lost without your emails?

Yes I am LOST on aol as well :( Its sad not getting these emails but at least you can keep an eye on your threads in the user CP or otherwise I would have forgotten what I replied to.
We also get the tick next tothe threads we have replied to, whichI love.Makes it so much easier for us poor AOLers. Still love my AOL though for all the incoonvenience.

Yes! I spent all kinds of time trying to figure it. I understand why AOL is doing it, but it bothers me they can not take care of it more quickly than they have.
I'm not only 'lost' on AOL...I can't even sign in through AOL..I have to go in through Internet Explorer....which is a big pain in the butt...but, at least now I'm not missing anything. Although I don't know the why of it as I was able to get in through AOL about 2 weeks ago, then I went out of town and when I came back...Voila! I get that darn 'Plesk' message! Oh well...at least I figured out a way to get back here!!
I'm lost too! I really wish I was able to get e-mails telling me when a thread I was posting to had another response. It was soooo much easier than searching. I still love SCS!

At least I'm not the ONLY one having this problem. Calgramma, I did find a way around it though. If you've uploaded something into the gallery, make sure you have marked that you want to be notified everytime someone posts a comment. Then always save your notification as new, cut and paste the URL every time you want to log into SCS (it'll take you to your gallery), then click the forums, gallery, home, whatever on the top. Don't use any back buttons because then you'll get the same problem as just trying to log in.
It's a pain in the butt to do this every time, but hey, it works!
I've not been getting notifications about topics, but AM getting notifications about comments to my gallery. And yes I've checked all the options, despite them being black on black! AOL drives me insane, but I am too scared to change in case a new ISP drives me even more insane! I hate when AOL thinks it knows best about spam and yet lets me get a whole load of other junk through about enlarging certain parts of my body which I don't even have!
AOL problem seems to be resolved for me. I have a mailbox full of missing emails and I can get into SCS through AOL. YEAH!
Me too! I got disproportionately excited as, to begin with, I thought they were all comments on my gallery!! Then confusion set in as they didn't match my User CP. I think I've just about caught up now and have worked out what's going on.
