I used to feel like you; however, I started scrapbooking along with the card making, and now realize that the two are very closely related. You can gain ideas from scrapbook pages that you can use on cards....new ideas that may not be presented in card workshops. I think I am a better card maker because of what I am learning from scrapbooking. It is sort of funny because everyone that knows me, knows that I never really wanted to scrapbook....ever! Then after seeing all of the darling pages created here, I decided to take some classes and was immediately in love with the art of it! Please, do not feel that I am not pouring "cold" water on your idea........just telling you what happened to me.
