Yes, that was one thing I wanted to do and didn't. Sneak in a 3 Musketeers bar...didn't I read that somewhere that is your favorite??? Oh well! A funny side note...I had entered some recipes in a contest. The one that got me ino semi-finals was a Strawberry Dream Cake. But you know what pushed me out right????? Chocolate Truffle something or other....you just can't win in a fight against chocolate!!!!! :lol:

I will update you when I get todays mail. Judging will be done on October 4th and October 7th. The winners will be notified on October 7th. The cards will be sent off to Keri on October 8th for the troops!

I'm not sure my mailman likes me. My mailbox is full when he arrives and he has to take tons of envelopes out. Then he has to try to squeeze a lot into the mailbox, and quite often he has to stop and get out of his car to put stuff by my door.
I always smile and wave though! (as I'm dancing my way to the mailbox!)

I just want you all to know, that tonight was the first night I put the contest cards out on display. I had a Holiday Mini catalog workshop, and some of my gals actually spent more time in my stamp room looking at the contest cards, than they did stamping in the other room! My stamping friends were VERY impressed with all of your cards and just couldn't believe the work that you put into them! So hats off to all of you who entered!
I'm off to unwind with my murder mystery! Happy Night!
WOW! As I looked thru them I kept saying (to myself, of coure) "OH, CUTE!" How is anyone going to pick a winner out of all those great cards! Great job ladies!

Lana, you have done alot of work for this contest !! I think you should get a prize for hosting the contests. Tell ya what - if my card wins 1st place you can keep it as my gift to you rather than send that one on to the troops. OK. Or better yet - have a "Lana's Pick" of the cards and you get to keep that one. You won't even have to tell me if it isn't mine. LOL
I really must say, after looking at all you ladies' cards I am just in awe! They are wonderful. Mine really look kind of amateurish compared to yours! I keep hoping that by hangin out here, I'll absorb some of your talent through osmosis! Hey, it could happen!

I was at Lana's house last night and I got to help judge the cards! It was difficult because all of the cards were beautiful and so professional. All of you did a fantastic job. I wish I could have taken the cards home. Awesome work!
